Kiva Krew
Kiva allows individuals to make $25 loans to low-income business men/women in the developing world (micro finance). By doing so, individuals like you and me can provide affordable working capital for the poor (money to buy a sewing machine, livestock, etc.), empowering them to earn their way out of poverty. Kiva is a new, direct and sustainable way to fight global poverty.
Our Kiva Krew, over 50 families/groups, has loaned money to more than 700 businessmen/women in over 40 countries around the world. Let us keep it going and help reduce poverty by joining the Kiva Krew. Do you remember Pastor Orv’s January sermon, “What is your vision for 2008” and then Pastor Allen’s sermon “Micah 6:8” “Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God”?
