School
Background Noah’s Ark Preschool began in 1972 as a 12-student class and has grown
to ten classes involving 150 children and five teachers. In 1979, the preschool became an official
outreach of Program The preschool offers a creative, individualized curriculum for children
ages two through five. Noah’s Noah’s
Staff The teachers will provide a learning atmosphere that will help the
children achieve success. Many staff
members have earned college degrees and all have extensive experience working
with young children. Staff members include: Karin Weaver, Judy
Wilkin, Monica Beckham, Karen Spellman, Wendy Heater Classes Noah’s School
Dates The preschool is in session from mid-September to the end of May. Noah’s Ark Preschool observes the same
school holidays as the Parents’
Role We encourage each parent’s participation with their child through
interaction between the child, the family, the preschool and First Lutheran
Church. Our program offers
co-operative participation from the parents for reduced tuition fees. Each family will be responsible for snack
and juice approximately five times a year.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer when possible and visits are
always welcome! Admissions
Policy Noah’s Ark Preschool is a ministry of First Lutheran Church. All children are welcome with the
understanding that Christian concepts, ideals, and philosophies are inherent
to the preschool program. Children of any race, creed, national and ethnic
origin are entitled to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities. Information If you wish to visit our school, contact the director in advance. Visitors are welcome. For registration
