Mission Statement With God as our center and parents as our partners, we will emotionally, physically and spiritually nurture the total child. Philosophy Our staff believes in nurturing children in a caring, safe and Christian environment. We value a philosophy of child development that recognizes a respect for the uniqueness of each child’s growth patterns. We encourage a teaching environment that fosters a comfortable atmosphere and an understanding of each child’s individual learning style. Meals Noah’s Ark provides a nutritious and appetizing breakfast, lunch and snacks on a daily basis. We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) through the Superintendent of Public Instruction of Washington State. The Center Noah’s Ark Daycare is a Christian, family-orientated care center for children ages one month through twelve years. We are licensed and regulated by the Department of Social and Health Services of Washington. The center is open year-round from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on most national holidays. Admission Policy All children are welcome with the understanding that Christian concepts, ideas and philosophies are fundamental to the program. Children of any race, creed, nationality or ethnic origins are entitled to all rights, privileges, programs or activities. All immunizations must be up to date. Fee Schedule Fees are based upon age of the child and a registration fee for each child at the time of enrollment. Fees listed here are subject to change. Age Group Monthly Rate 1-12 months $715 13-20 months $625 21-35 months $625 36 months-5 years $565 Kindergarten (school year) $500 Kindergarten (summer) $565 1st grade & up (school year) $395 1st grade & up (summer) $565 Before school only $290 After school only $290 Registration fee: 1 child- $50; 2 or more children- $75 Full time is 26 or more hours per week. At the present time, we do not accept part time or drop-ins. Please call for up to date information. We accept DSHS payments. Before and After School Activities The center serves those children in grades K-6 who attend East Port Orchard Elementary or Orchard Heights Elementary. The children are escorted to and from school by a member of our staff. There are age appropriate activities and snacks for the children. Field Trips We occasionally take children of toddler age and above on field trips in and around the community. Prior to each trip, parents are informed and permission in writing is obtained. On some outings, parents may be asked to chaperone.
