Church Community
We like to practice “joy” at First Lutheran Community Church, and you will find our worship, our service, and our conversations seasoned with laughter. Although we take God seriously, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. Come as you are, knowing that you will be welcome here.
Church Mission
At First Lutheran Community Church you are family. No matter who you are or where you’ve been you are welcome here. We are believers and seekers working to live out the call of Christ, that all people in our community have all that they need.
Church Staff
At First Lutheran Community Church we strive to be the church that gets you where you need to go. Helping you to find that right place many times involves getting you to the right people. Meet the staff at FLCC.

What does Lutheran or ELCA mean?
Lutheran means that we come from the group of reformers that split with the Catholic Church in the 1500’s, it doesn’t mean we worship Martin Luther, but that we think he had some pretty great things to say. Click HERE to watch a video about the relevance of Lutheranism today. ELCA means we are part of a branch of Lutheranism called Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Not all ELCA churches are the same, and we are admittedly a little odd, but we connect with a larger group that reminds us we can do more together. Click HERE to watch a video about the difference between ELCA and other traditions.
I Need Help!
Need a visit or spiritual direction or want to have a conversation? We have a visitation coordinator, Marj Olason. Call the office or send an email to get in touch with her (360-876-3901 or deaconmarjflc@gmail.com).
Need help locating resources like food, housing, utilities, etc? We have a resource coordinator named Corrinne Criss that works Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10-2 and can be reached at 360-876-3901 or through email at resourcecoflcc@gmail.com
When are Sunday Services and can I take communion?
Our Worship Services are in person every Sunday at 10am. We share Communion every week. We believe God calls all people to the communion table, so at our church the answer will always be “YES!” to can I take communion.
